How to Apply Hair Conditioner

Everyone who knows themselves cares about their hair, sometimes we even spend hours just taking care of our hair and its shape because our hair is a very important part of our appearance. All of us have different hair types; some of us have dry hair, some of us have curly hair. Naturally, the hair care products that you apply to your hair also vary.

Cleaning our hair with shampoo regularly removes natural oils that nourish our hair as well as dirt and dust. For this reason, our hair may not be well nourished and may lose its strong structure. So, using conditioner has become a big part of our lives now.

Well, how can we apply hair conditioners to our hair? Which way can we get better efficiency?

First of all, find the right conditioner

Traditionally, conditioners are used after the shampoo is rinsed off while having a shower. This type of conditioner breaks the negative effects of various factors (dirt, blow dryer, straightener, etc.) that damage our hair during the day and takes care of our hair.

Wash your hair

Get in the shower and wash your hair as usual. Conditioner can be used after the hair is washed and cleaned. So, take your favorite shampoo and apply it to your hair, rub your scalp and hair thoroughly with your fingertips. But be careful not to pull your hair when it is wet, this will cause the weak hair to become weaker.

Rinse off the shampoo

Make sure to rinse your hair with warm water, this is much safer for your hair than hot water. Hot water can damage your hair depending on how you use it. Be careful not to pull on the strands.

Squeeze your hair

You usually don't need to do this if your hair is short, but if your hair is long and very wet, you should squeeze the water out to dry it. Otherwise, the conditioner you apply will slip away and will not show the expected effect.

Apply the conditioner

Put some conditioner in your palm and decide on the amount you need to apply according to your hair length. Usually, applying a little bit is enough, but if your hair is long, you might want to apply a little more. You may even need to use a handful if it's too long. Apply the conditioner you put in your palm to the scalp and gently rub it in. Remember, the conditioner should only touch the end of the hair because that's where the damaged part is. Using hair conditioner on the root of the hair can cause a negative effect by clogging the hair follicles.

It’s time to wait

This step is optional. The longer the conditioner stays on your hair, the better it will work, but of course there is no need to exaggerate. For best results, it is enough to keep it in your hair for 1-2 minutes. If you are in a hurry, you can rinse it off immediately after application, but it may not give maximum effect.

Rinse it

Cold water is better for your hair. Rinse your hair with cold water. You need to rinse for a long time until that "sticky" feeling in your hair is gone. If your hair is soft and smooth, rinsing is complete!
